Police Release Photo of Alleged Bank Robber
Have you seen this man? Tiverton police need your help in locating this man, who robbed the Bank of Newport on Saturday morning.
Police released the video surveillance footage (seen above) from the Bank of Newport this Saturday.
The man, seen in the photos, is wanted in connection with a robbery at the Bank of Newport, 614 Main Road, Tiverton.
Tiverton police received a 911 call at 9:06 a.m. Saturday from the Bank of Newport, north branch, of a reported robbery.
According to police, a man entered the bank around 9:06 a.m. The suspect was described as a white man, 5'6" tall, wearing a gray T-shirt and dark colored pants.

Police are asking for anyone with information, or who may have been in or around the bank at the time, to call investigators Lt. Michael Carr and Det. Jason Dunlea at 401-625-6717 to help identify the suspect to further the investigation.
