WORKSHOP SERIES: Creative Writing Group for Teens

The Tiverton Public Library and the Sandywoods Center for the Arts

present an engaging creative writing workshop for young adults beginning on September 18!

Do
you journal? Do you have a secret notebook filled with poems? Have you
tried writing short stories? Flash fiction? Fan fiction? Or have you
always wanted to try? Our workshop will encourage you to wake up and
shake up the writer within. Creative prompts and constructive feedback
will help you find the right form and the right words to express your
own unique vision.

Kathryn Kulpa has been writing since she was old enough to
hold a pen--actually, a crayon. Her first story was published in
Seventeen magazine, and she was an editor at Merlyn's Pen, a
magazine of writing by teens. She currently edits Newport Review, an
online literary magazine, and is the author of a short story collection,
Pleasant Drugs. Her stories have been featured in Cleaver, Metazen, Monkeybicycle, Superstition Review, and the Six-Word Memoir series.

FREE
and open to ages 12-18.
