On Monday, November 25, the Tiverton Public
Library will offer a support program “Coping With the
Holidays”. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and the New Year is a time anticipated with joy for many as memories of family and
friends flood from seasons past.
For some, this approaching season can bring on dread and sorrow. With a little careful planning,
and suggestions that will be offered at this program, you will learn how to take care of yourself, be aware of how you are feeling, and know that
it’s ok to feel sad or happy. Come join us for a time with others who have common
experiences, and express feelings and ideas to make this a different but pleasant
holiday season. Discover new ways to celebrate
while recognizing your limits. Judith Anderson, MA Bereavement Counselor with the Southcoast Visiting Nurse Association, will be the presenter. Space is limited to 12 people so please call the library at 401-625-6796 to reserve a spot.
