Take a look at Black's Law Dictionary: Slander. Libel. Defamation of Character. And apply it to your own situation. I trust Matthew Sanderson that you have a supervisor and a Legal Department; rest assured you have created a big mess for them too.

@Jimmy - on Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 at 8:33AM -when most people are at work; you wrote and described yourself as "a 29 year old homeowner who has grown up in Tiverton" - and then on Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 at 1:02PM, again -when most people are at work, you then go on to describe to "Dan" that he "has some type of mental issue or insecurity." First of all, what type of mental issue do you have? And what gives you the right to talk and/or write that way? How would you like other, anonymous writers/posters/bloggers on Tiverton/Patch.com/Rhode Island to describe you in that way? Perhaps they should. You do not tell me what to do; and if you are only 29-years old, rest assured....you have a lot of growing up to do, and it shows. Let's have your full name and your last name publically identified for the readership of Tiverton/Patch.com, along with your employer, and have the editors of Patch.com post it, where other readers/writers can view it. That way, with both your first and last name appearing in print, there is no confusion. I would be pleased to ask my husband if he knows you, as my husband is a longtime Tiverton resident/taxpayer. Same last name too. What are you so afraid of, that people will find out: 1) Who you are 2) Where you live 3) Where you work, and 4) What employer wants you on their payroll, when you make awful remarks about other people...........people you don't even know. I for one, do not know you.

@ Jimmy - is the writer under the "fake-name" of Jimmy, is he James A. Donnelly, Jr. of both Tiverton, Rhode Island-former town of Tiverton moderator and of Martine Street, Fall River Massachusetts? Could someone at Tiverton/Patch.com -verify this for the Patch.com online readership. If so, there is a conflict of interest.
