Weather Advisory In Effect Through 7 A.M. On Tuesday
Winter weather is threatening to make Tuesday's commute a slippery on in Tiverton and Little Compton.
Snow will accumulate through 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning and the National Weather Service) (NWS is predicting a slippery morning commute. Up to five inches could fall before snows taper down around mid-morning, the Taunton-based weather station predicts. Prepare for a delayed commute this morning as slick roadways, poor visibility and likely snow drifts slowing motorists down. "Motorists need to be especially careful on bridges and overpasses where slippery spots can easily develop," states the weather advisory. Temperatures will also be colder than average today, peaking in the lower 20s.
