UPDATE: Tiverton Crash Victim Airlifted To Rhode Island Hospital

A woman was transported via Boston MedFlight to Rhode Island Hospital on Monday night after a rollover crash on Stone Church Road in Tiverton.

  An unidentified woman was flown to Rhode Island Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries after a rollover crash on Stone Church Road in Tiverton just after 7 p.m. on Monday. According to Tiverton Fire Chief Robert Lloyd, the woman suffered serious injuries after the car she was driving veered off of the road and rolled into the woods on Stone Church Road. Firefighters responding to the accident used the jaws of life to extricate the woman from her four-door silver sedan. The car was reportedly wrapped around a tree and barely visible from the roadway. "My guys did a good job, a real good job," said Lloyd. "It took about 30 minutes to extricate her from the vehicle," Lloyd added. Tiverton Fire Rescue administered emergency…
