Toys for Tots Drop-Off Sites in Tiverton-Little Compton

Find out where to bring your Toys for Tots donations in Tiverton-Little Compton.

  The Toys for Tots annual drive is underway in Rhode Island, and there are several locations in Tiverton and Little Compton to donate your toys. Bring new, unwrapped toys to the drop-off locations.  The age group that is most needed is age 0-2 and 11-14 years-old.  According to the Toys for Tots FAQ, realistic-looking toy weapons and gifts with food are not distributed. Online donations by credit card can be made by following this link. Here's a look at the drop-off locations near Tiverton and Little Compton:

Tiverton High School Cheerleaders Collecting Toys For Tots

Tiverton Cheerleaders Send Care Packages to U.S. Troops

They also collected over 200 toys for the Toys for Tots Drive.

Tiverton High School cheerleaders sent out four care packages to U.S. Troops overseas this week: three to Aghanistan and one to Japan. The cheerleaders also collected over 200 toys for the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Drive. They wish the troops and their families a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and a speedy return home!  The girls are Lisa Feliciano, Cassidy Correia, Michaela Greene, Rachel Mellon, Kayla Wiggins, Taylor Moniz, Kelsie Mendoza, Kaleigh Cordeira, Becca Ferzan, Abby Neville, Tasha Andrade, Elaina Trucceida, Taylor Fernandes and Mikayla Auger.

Make Way For Toys in Tiverton

A collaboration between the Tiverton Police Department, the Tiverton High School Community Service Program and the East Bay Community Action Program made another Toys for Tots drive successful this week.

Hundreds of stuffed animals, toys, games, dolls, cars and trucks made their way from the Tiverton Senior Center basement to numerous Tiverton families experiencing financial hardships as part of this year's collaborative Toys for Tots program. The program is administered locally by Police Chief Thomas Blakey, the Tiverton High School Community Service Program and the East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) and Head Start. The project's been going on annually for the last seven years, according to Sheila Kauffmann, the school's new community service coordinator.
