Tiverton Firefighters Launch Annual Christmas Food Basket Drive

Tiverton's local firefighters union raise funds and food to help feed families who need assistance during the holidays.

The Tiverton Firefighters Local 1703 will hold their annual Christmas food basket distribution to Town of Tiverton families that are in need of assistance this Christmas season. Any family that is in need of a basket or knows of a family that needs one, please call Firefighter Pat White at 401-266-8434. Callers are asked to leave name, address and telephone number, along with the number of people in the family. Residents may also stop by Station #2 at 85 Main Road, and leave information in an envelope addressed to Firefighter White. All information must bereceived by Friday, December 14th. Baskets will be given on a first come, first serve basis due tothe limited number of baskets. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
