Tiverton Senior Citizen Arrested After Neighborly Tiff

  Thomas J. Blisko, 68, of 120 Hambly Road Apt. POB97, Tiverton, was arrested on Monday, May 13 at 5:29 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after police were dispatched to his address for an ongoing dispute between Blisko and his neighbor. When police arrived they reportedly witnessed Blisko standing at the edge of his property, about eight feet away from his neighbor, screaming, yelling and trying to provoke a confrontation. The neighbor alleged that Blisko repeats this behavior nearly every morning, waking at 5 a.m. to harass his neighbor as he leaves for work. Fall River Man Charged With DUI, Three Times Legal Limit

  A Fall River, MA, man was charged with drunken driving after his car crashed while driving with a Blood Alcohol Count allegedly three times the legal limit.  Kevin P. Theberge, 27, of 299 Field St. Apt. 1, was arrested on April 28 at 6:03 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence. He was arrested after he apparently lost control of his green Subaru, which collided with a boulder on Judson Street. Police found Theberge inside his car, which sustained heavy front-end damage. Police said Theberge displayed signs of alcohol intoxication and submitted to a field sobriety test, which he failed, and a preliminary Breathalyzer test. He registered a .236 on the preliminary Breathalyzer and, at the station, he registered a .255 and .262. …

Tiverton Police: Drunk and Disoderly Leads To Night In Jail

  Drunk and Disoderly Leads To Night In Jail  Derek Paul Luz, 22, of 65 Lucas St., New Bedford, MA, was arrested on Saturday, April 6 at 10:16 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly caused a scene at a local restaurant when a bartender refused to serve him any more drinks. Tiverton Police found Luz, who was reportedly highly intoxicated, yelling and screaming in the bar area at Spring Primavera Restaurant. When Luz refused to calm down even for police, he was arrested  for his disorderly behavior and held overnight at Tiverton Police headquarters. Tiverton Police: Portsmouth Woman Arrested on Domestic Violence and Drug Charges

  Domestic Violence and Drug Charges Nancy Louise Dubois, 52, of 2743 East Main Road, Portsmouth, was arrested on Wednesday, March 24 at 6:50 p.m. and charged with domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism and felony drug possession after she allegedly broke into her ex-boyfriend's home and attacked him. According to reports, Dubois bent a screen to enter her ex-boyfriend's Bridle Way home, struck him twice in the neck and threw a cup of coffee at him before taking off in her car. Police reportedly caught up to Dubois driving back to Portsmouth on Route 24 south near Eagleville Road and stopped her. Westport Man Charged with Marijuana Possession Cody Cadieux, 22, of 259 D Tickle Road, Westport, MA, was arrested by Tiverton Police on Saturday, March 16 at 3:29 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, driving in possession of a controlled substance, and failure to display license plates on his vehicles. According to reports, police stopped Cadieux's vehicle on Eagleville Road shortly after 3 p.m. because he had no license plates displayed. Tiverton Police: No Contact Orders and Domestic Larceny

Fall River Man Violates No Contact Order Bernard Edwards, 35, of 1264 North Main Road, Apt. 1, Fall River, MA, was arrested on Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. and charged with violating a no contact order against his estranged wife. According to police reports, Edward's wife contacted the Tiverton Police Department on Dec. 2 at 10:30 a.m. and alleged that Edwards had sent her a friend request on Facebook - in violation of the no contact order. Based information gathered in an ensuing investigation, a warrant was issued for Edwards arrest and he turned himself into police headquarters on Feb. 21. Tiverton Police: Middletown Man Charged with DUI, 10 Other Offenses

  Get Your Own Name, Bro Christopher Vivier, 34, of 15 Randolph Ave. Apt. 1, Tiverton, was arrested on Jan. 22 at 11:05 p.m. and charged with obstructing an officer in duty and driving with a suspended license. According to Tiverton Police reports, a warrant was drafted for Vivier's arrest following a traffic stop on Bridgeport Road on Jan. 9. Tiverton Police stopped Vivier for not wearing a safety belt and noticed that the registration on his Ford Expedition came back for a Volvo. At the time he had no license on him and gave police his brother's identity. He was cited and released that night. During a followup investigation, police learned Vivier had given an assumed identity and a warrant was drafted for his arrest. Police arrested …

Westport Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

Tiverton Police arrested a Westport man on multiple drug charges following a routine traffic stop on Sunday.

  Tiverton Police charged a Westport, MA man with two counts of drug possession on Sunday following a traffic stop on Crandall Road. Edward Medeiros, 39, of 366 Sanford Road, Westport, MA, was arrested on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 6:20 p.m. and charged with misdemeanor possession on marijuana, felony possession of Hydrocodone and driving in possession of a controlled substance. Police stopped Medeiros on Crandall Road for speeding after an officer allegedly clocked him driving 60 mph in a posted 40 mph zone. Upon approaching Medeiros vehicle, police alleged they could smell an ordor of marijuana coming from within the car. During a subsequent search, police found a wooden pipe, seven marijuana cigarettes and several Hydrocodone pills for which …

Tiverton Police: Man Caught Driving Two Times Legal Limit Charged With DUI

  Edward Fortier, 41, of 37 Bark Cir, Swansea, MA, was arrested on Jan. 15 at 11 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence, first offense, blood alcohol content unknown. According to reports, Tiverton Police allegedly saw Fortier driving his car in the center of the roadway on Main Road near Durfee Road, taking up both lanes of travel. An officer was forced to pull to the side of the road in order to allow Fortier to pass. After catching up with the vehicle and initiating a traffic stop, police approached the car and noticed the Fortier's hand was bleeding. Tiverton Contractor Charged With Stealing $6,000 In Materials

A Tiverton contractor was charged with stealing $6,000 worth of construction materials from a client's home.

A Tiverton contractor is facing felony larceny charges after a customer accused him of taking more than $6,000 worth of construction materials from her home. Arthur Smith Sr., 69, of 3626 Main Road, Tiverton, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 30 at 11:39 a.m. and charged with felony larceny of more than $1,500. According to reports, one of Smith's client's complained to police that Smith stole thousands of dollars of construction-type supplies from her East Road residence. The complainant alleged Smith stole at least $6,000 in sheet metal, wood, screws and other supplies. Tiverton Police conducted an investigation and spoke with other witnesses.
