Snow Expected Through Mid-Morning Wednesday

A snow and rain mixture could make the morning commute messy on Wednesday, the National Weather service warns.

Watch out for slippery roads on the morning commute on Wednesday. The National Weather Service is warning commuters to beware of icy road conditions through mid-morning on Wednesday. Snow and rain are expected to accumulate during rush hour. The Taunton, MA-based weather station is predicting one-to-two inches of snow on the roads. By noon, precipitation along Tiverton, Little Compton and the south coast will change over to mostly rain. Drivers are warned to use extra caution while on the road today, as untreated roads will be snow-covered and slippery.
