Little Compton To Hold Meeting On School Safety On Wednesday
Little Compton school administrators will meet with parents on Wednesday to discuss the current state and future plans for safety as students transition to modular classrooms in January.
Little Compton school administrators will hold an informational meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m. for parents concerned with school building safety procedures. In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, CT, Supt. Kathryn Crowley is working with Little Compton public safety personnel to ensure continued safety as students and faculty transfer into temporary classroom units during renovations at the Wilbur-McMahon School. Classes are expected to move into the temporary units the last week of January and will likely remain there through June.
