Little Compton Teenager Charged with Marijuana Possession Riley Kinnane, 19, of 19 Bernard Lane, Little Compton, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 3 a.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, first offense. Police allegedly found marijuana on Kinnane after checking on a suspicious vehicle parked on Town Way. Suspected Theft On West Main Road A West Main Road resident reported on Nov. 20 at 1:39 p.m. that an heirloom necklace was taken from the residence. The necklace was last seen in June.

Fall River Man Arrested For Driving With Expired License Gene Carvalho, 60, of Fall River, MA, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 12 at 9:28 a.m. and charged with driving with an expired license. Little Compton Police stopped Carvalho on West Main Road for a traffic infraction and learned his license was invalid. He was released with a court summons. Suspended License Arrest Leads to Felony Drug Possession Charge Joseph S. Rocha, 26, of Fall River, MA, was arested on Monday, Nov. 12 at 4:14 p.m. and charged with possession of Suboxone and driving with a suspended license. Police stopped Rocha on South Shore Road and a subsequent computer check showed Rocha's license was suspended. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters where a …

Providence Man Arrested For Driving Without A License Santos Morente, 32, of 17 Rosedale St. Providence, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 2:48 p.m. Police stopped Morente for speeding and a subsequent computer check showed that he did not have a drivers license.

Fall River Man Arrested on Warrant, Marijuana Charges Jason A. Camara, 31, of 80 Division St., Fall River, Ma, was arrested on Oct. 15 at 1:04 p.m. After police received a complaint from a motorist travelling on Crandall Road, police arrested Camara after learning he was wanted on a bench warrant from Second Division District Court for failure to appear for ability to pay fines. He was also charged with possession of marijuana after police seized a baggie of suspected marijuana from his pocket when he was searched. Thieves Steal Washer and Dryer From West Main Road Home A West Main Road resident reported on Monday, Sept. 17 at 7:51 p.m. that someone broke into a vacant local home and stole a washer and dryer from the residence. Little Compton Police are investigating the incident. Local Businesswoman Witnesses Someone Stealing A Brownell Road resident reportedly watched someone steal money from her roadside stand on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 4:38 p.m. Police are following up on several leads.

East Providence Man Arrested on Warrant Jordan Mello, 20, of 85 Harris St., East Providence, was arrested by Little Compton Police on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 9:34 p.m. on a warrant. According to reports, Mello was stopped for speeding when a subsequent computer check showed he was wanted for violating a restraining order. Dashboard Panel Stolen From East Main Road Business An East Main Road business owner reported on Sept. 10 at 6:26 p.m. that a dashboard panel was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle that was parked at the store.

Domestic Assault Casey A. Quarry, 28, of 7 Dearborn St., Newport, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 12 at 3:47 p.m. and charged with domestic simple assault. According to reports, police responded to the Crandall Road area to meet with a woman. She had scratches on her arms and was covered with dirt. She reported that she was assaulted by a family member while she visited him at his campsite off of Crandall Road. Officers made contact with him where he was arrested and charged. Disturbance Police responded to an Old Main Road residence for a report of a domestic argument. After speaking with both parties involved, it was determined the argument never became physical. No one was arrested

Arrested on Warrant James Mataronas, of 287 State Ave., Tiverton, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 7:35 p.m. on a bench warrant for failure to appear in district court. Police found the warrant during a computer check after stopping Mataronas for not wearing his seat belt. Graffiti Reported A Little Compton resident reported that someone spray painted '666' on a telephone police at the corner of Church Road and Colebrook Road. Police have no suspects at this time.

Tiverton Man Arrested For DUI at Two-Times Legal Limit Adam Lambert, 30, of 192 Hurst Lane, Tiverton, was arrested on Sunday, July 1 at 12:24 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence. After police stopped Lambert for a motor vehicle infraction on Crandall Road, officers smelled the odor of alcohol coming from inside of his vehicle. After performing field sobriety tests and failing them, he was arrested and charged. At the station, he took the breathalyzer and was nearly two times the legal limit. Fall River Man Arrested With 4 Pot Plants In Car Brenton Dewsnap, age 20, Fall River, MA, was arrested on Wednesday, June 20 at 8:20 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana. Little Compton Police stopped Dewsnap on Colebrook Road and officers detected the odor of unburnt marijuana coming from inside the car. After questioning Dewsnap, he allegedly admitted to having marijuana plants inside. After a search of the car, police seized four marijuana plants. He was arrested and charged. Warrants:
