Little Compton Police Make Three Traffic-Related Arrests

Westport Man Charged With Driving With a Suspended License Steven Fors, 22 of Westport, MA, was arrested on May 1 at 12:07 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license. Little Compton Police stopped Fors for failing to stop at a stop sign and discovered that his license was suspended. Fors was issued a summons for Second Division District Court. Little Compton Man Arrested on Warrant John Peckham, 20, Little Compton was arrested on Saturday, May 4 11:43 a.m. on an  outstanding bench warrant after police recognized him working on West Main Road. Erratic Driving Leads To Two Arrests in Little Compton A good Samaritan report to the Little Compton Police about an erratic driver all over the road lead to two arrests on Tuesday, April 16. Just after 7:30 p.m. police stopped a car driven by Leslie Almeida , 51, of 58 Fourth Street, Fall River, MA. Police arrested Almeida at 7:40 p.m. and charged her with driving after suspension of her license after a computer check showed her license had been revoked. Kyle Walker, 19, of 18 Lewis Place, Lynn, MA was arrested on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:40 p.m. and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon other than firearms. Fall River Man Arrested on Warrant in Little Compton

Fall River Man Arrested on Warrant Jason Almeida, 30, of 261 Buffington St. Apt 2, Fall River, MA, was arrested on April 8 at 3:08 p.m. on an active bench warrant from Second Division District Court for failure to appear. Police pulled Almeida over on West Main Road after an officer recognized him. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license. Mailbox Vandal Strikes on Long Highway A Little Compton resident reported on Friday, April 12 at 10:38 p.m. that their mailbox was vandalized in front of 216 Long Highway.

Little Compton Police: Barrington Man Arrested on Weapons Charge

Barrington Man Arrested on Weapons Charge Little Compton Police arrested Christopher Martin, 24, of Barrington, was arrested on Thursday, April 4 at 10:01 p.m. and charged with possession of a weapons other than firearms after police found a folding knife with a blade length exceeding four inches. Police allegedly found the knife on Martin's person or inside his care after police stopped him for speeding on West Main Road.

  Little Compton Police Arrest Two Driver's Without Proper Licenses Little Compton Man Arrested on Bench Warrant Kyle N. Novo, 19, of 200 Long Highway, Little Compton, was arrested on Sunday, March 21 at 9:06 p.m. on a bench warrant issued by Second Division District Court for failure to appear for an ability to pay hearing.

do yours, it is not an arrestable offense to have an EXPIRED license. And driving with a suspended license is also not an arrestable offense, unless it has been suspended for DUI.   more ›

  Fall River Man Caught Driving Without A License Little Compton Police arrested Jason Almeida, 30, of Fall River, MA, on Monday, March 18 and charged him with driving with a revoked license after he was stopped for driving with an obstructed windshield on Meetinghouse Lane. Westport Man Driving With Expired License Brett Schneider, 26, of Westport, MA, was arrested on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. and charged with driving with an expired license after his car was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. He was summoned to appear at District Court.

Fall River Man Charged With Pot Possession, Obstructing an Officer Tedeau Semedo, 20, of Fall River, was arrested on Saturday, March 16 at 10:28 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, first offense, and obstructing an officer in execution of duty. According to reports, police were called to a Long Highway home for a report of an unwanted man at the home. during the investigation, police found Semedo, searched his person and found the marijuana, and charged him with obstruction after he allegedly supplied police with a false date of birth. Little Compton Police: Narragansett Woman Arrested on Warrant

 Narragansett Woman Arrested on Warrant Chelsea Bishop, 28, of Narragansett, was arrested on Tuesday, March 5 at 1:58 a.m. on a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was arrested after Little Compton Police responded to Sakonnet Point for a report of a disabled vehicle. Middletown Man Cited For Traffic Violations Justin Boiani, 32, of Middletown, was arrested on Fridy, March 8 at 3:31 p.m. and charged with driving on a suspended license and cited for a registration violation. A summons was issued and he was released.  Roza Charged With Domestic Assault Robert Roza, 47, of New Bedford, was arrested on Saturday, March 9 at 8:48 p.m. and charged with domestic simple assault and domestic failure to relinquish a …

Little Compton Police: Westport Man Arrested For Pot Possession

  Kameron Britto, 21, of 8 Pond Drive, Westport, MA, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 1 at 10:47 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, first offense. Police stopped Britto for a motor vehicle violation and discoverd the drugs in a subsequent search. Little Compton Police also reported one accident due to snow on Sunday, Feb. 3.

Little Compton Police: Fall River Man Nearly Runs Police Car Off Of Road

The following incident reports are based solely on information supplied by the Little Compton Police Department.

  Fall River Man Charged With Driving Three Times The Legal Limit After Nearly Driving Police Car Off The Road Timothy Silva, 38, of Fall River, MA, was arrested on Jan. 19 at 2:13 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence. According to reports, Little Compton Police stopped Silva on West Main Road after he allegedly nearly ran a marked cruiser off of the road. When officers made contact with Silva, they detected the smell of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. When asked, Silva took and failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested and charged.
