New Bedford Man Charged With Drug Possession Brendan Mulroy, 26, of 400 Court St., New Bedford, MA, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 1:55 p.m. and charged him with possession of marijuana, first offense. Little Compton Police stopped for a moving violation on Colebrook Road. When theofficer approached the vehicles driver he could smell the odor of burnt marijuana comingfrom inside the vehicle, which then lead to Mulroy’s arrest. Holly Berry Hill Vandalism A Holly Berry Hill resident reported to police at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28 that a dooron a wooden shed on the person's property was vandalized. A 28-year-old Little Compton man was arrested on burglary and drug charges following a home invasion on Friday, Nov. 30.
Little Compton Police arrested a 28-year-old Little Compton man on Friday, Nov. 30 within hours after he allegedly invaded the home of an elderly man on Indian Hill Road. Luther Parente, 28, of 305 Long Highway was arrested and charged with breaking and entering a dwelling of a person over the age of 60 while the victim was on the premises, a felony, larceny of less than $1,500, possession of marijuana, and possession of a schedule IV narcotic. According to reports, Parente allegedly attempted to rob the elderly man's 71 Indian Hill Road home shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday. The homeowner was awoken when Parente turned on his bedroom light.
