Portsmouth Man Charged With Marijuana Distribution, LSD Possession

Tiverton Police arrested 21-year-old Christopher Edmond Bonneau, of Portsmouth, on felony drug charges.

A 21-year-old Portsmouth man faces three felony drug charges after police found marijuana, LSD and drug distribution materials in his car. Christopher Edmond Bonneau, 21, of 159 Pear St., Portsmouth, was arrested on Aug. 23 at 9:30 a.m. and charged with three felony drug counts - manufacturing and distribution of marijuana, possession of LSD, possession of hashish. Tiverton Police stopped Bonneau's car because its windows were illegally tinted. Police were unable to immediately identify Bonneau as the driver because he had no license on him. As officers spoke with Bonneau, they allegedly saw rolling papers and approximately 120 clear plastic baggies with grinders attached as they spoke with Bonneau. Tiverton Man Arrested on Third Domestic Assault Charge

Tiverton Police arrested Robert C. Leeming, 36, of 90 Charles Drive Apt. 3, Tiverton on Aug. 16 at 10:25 p.m. and charged him with domestic felony assault - his third such offense. According to reports, police responded to Leeming's condominium for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon their arrival police spoke with the apparent victim, a 34-year-old woman with who Leeming has a four-year-old child. The victim alleged Leeming put his hands around her neck and shoulders, choked her to the point of unconsciousness, and screamed he would kill her before he slammed her on kitchen floor and left on foot. Fall River Man Arrested For Heroin Possession

A Fall River man was charged with felony drug possession after Tiverton Police found several bags of heroine in his wallet.

Tiverton Police arrested a 25-year-old Massachusetts man for possession of heroine after he was stopped for not wearing his seat belt on Stafford Road. Cristovao Aguiar, 25, of 516 Whipple St. Apt. 3, Fall River, MA, was arrested on Friday, July 6 at 11:31 p.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving with the presence of alcohol in his vehicle, and driving without a license. According to reports, police stopped Aguiar on Stafford Road shortly before 11 p.m. because neither him or his passenger were wearing seat belts. Aguiar allegedly admitted he did not have a license and he was placed under arrest. Police Arrest Tiverton Man Using USPS To Ship Drugs

Tiverton Police, working with US Postal Inspectors and Massachusetts State Police, arrested a local man after discovering he was being shipped in marijuana and steroids from California via the federal mail service.

A local man was charged with two counts of felony drug possession after local police - who were working with federal inspectors - found he was receiving marijuana and steroids through the mail. Craig P. St. Amour 37, of 464 Hooper St., Tiverton, was arrested on Monday, June 25 at 1:35 p.m. after Tiverton Police, Massachusetts State Police and Unites States Postal Inspectors made a controlled delivery of a package that they suspected to contain narcotics. According to Lt. Patrick Jones authorities were tipped off that the package - which was mailed via the United States Postal Service from California to St. Amour's address - could contain drugs after a drug-sniffing dog identified it. @jmack, you're right and what makes marijuana illegal in the US is how the government (DEA) classifies it. Marijuana is classified as a Class I drug. All Class I drugs are illegal drugs such as Heroine, PCP, marijuana etc. Oxycontin (Oxycodone) is a Class II drug like Percocet and Fentanyl.
