Obituary: Esther Kaminski
The funeral for Esther Kaminski, 83, a longtime Tiverton resident, will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Bliss Four Corners Congregational Church.
Esther (Barboza) Kaminski, 83, formerly of Mt. Holly, NJ and Tiverton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. Esther was the beloved wife of the late Hillary (Bill) C. Kaminski. They met through a mutual love of the accordion and played beautifully together for 25 years. She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Rev. Manuel and Augusta (Gomes) Barboza and had lived in Tiverton for 33 years before moving to New Jersey in 2011 to be close to her family. Esther was an active member of the Bliss Four Corners Congregational Church in Tiverton where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Tiverton Senior Center chorus and enjoyed entertaining residents at local nursing homes. She loved music and enjoyed playing the …
