You all make this out to be "so much" now what are they going to do? Go to Harvard, become someone who doesn't care? Why do all parents have to justify their own self-worth by promoting their children? Parents have become pathetic.

Life is made up of little celebrations along the way. Why begrudge parents who celebrate their kids' achievements or activities? What's wrong with self-worth and promoting family? Those are basics of a healthy community.
