Check out this special lecture on restoring native habitats on Friday. Botanist and coordinator of the RINHS Rhody Native Initiative will provide a basic context for the importance of locally sourced native plants in our landscapes. The event is free and open to the public. The event is hosted by the Sakonnet Preservation Association with additional support from the Sogkonate and Little Compton Garden Clubs.
Bliss Four Corners Congregational Church will host its annual Harvest Supper this weekend. The dinner menu includes Stuffed Chicken Breast, mashed potatoes, turnips, butternut squash, carrots, beets, cranberry sauce, rolls, beverage and Apple or Squash Pie for dessert.
