'Portuguese Kids' To Perform Comedy Bit at THS Thursday

Four local comedians of Portuguese descent will perform on Thursday for Tiverton High School Students.

 

Tiverton High School students will get a chance to see the funnier side of growing of Portuguese on Thursday when the comedy troupe The Portuguese Kids performs at the school.

Four comedians from southeastern Massachusetts take ethnic comedy to new heights with live performances across the country. Utilizing sketch comedy, music and improv, Derrick DeMelo, Jason Casimiro, Brian Martins and Al Sardinha - better known as the Portuguese Kids - poke fun at their ethnic heritage using comedy and entertainment to build camaraderie and culture in Portuguese-American and Portuguese-Canadian communities.

On Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m. the Tiverton High School junior class will present the Portuguese Kids for an all-ages show in the high school auditorium, 100 North Brayton Road.
