Legendary Rocker, Bob Dylan along with Dawes to rock the Ryan Center on April 8

Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 1st

Mass Concerts and Global Spectrum are proud to announce that legendary rocker, Bob Dylan, an 11-time Grammy Award Winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and recent honoree of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, along with Dawes will be coming to the Ryan Center on April 8th at 7:30 pm.

An influential American musician and singer-songwriter, Bob Dylan became known for his early songs that became anthems for the US civil rights and anti-war movements. With a desire to defy existing pop music conventions Dylan altered the parameters of popular music and has both amplified and personalized musical genres.  Throughout his recording career, spanning fifty years, he has explored many of the traditions in American song—from folk, blues and country to gospel, rock and roll, and rockabilly to English, Scottish, and Irish folk music, embracing even jazz and swing. Dylan has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.

Dawes is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, composed of brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, along with Wylie Gelber and Tay Strathairn. Dawes was formed from the band Simon Dawes after the departure of co-songwriter Blake Mills, subsequently abandoning a post-punk sound in favor of folk rock.  They recently were special guests at the Mumford and Sons concert at PPAC earlier this Fall in Providence.

Tickets to see Bob Dylan and Dawes at the Ryan Center go on sale Friday, March 1 beginning at 10 am and are available at the Ryan Center Box Office, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. General Public ticket prices are $48 and VIP tickets are $68 with limited quantity.

VIP Dinner Packages are available including buffet, ticket to show and a VIP Parking Pass (1 per order) for $90 to $110 (based on ticket purchased).  Luxury Suites are also available for $1,400 and include 20 tickets, a $200 catering credit and 4 VIP Parking Passes.

Food, soft drinks, as well as beer and wine are available for purchase. For more information on a Dinner Package or Luxury Suite please contact Eric Postemsky at (401) 788-3080.
