Tiverton Buys Seaside Gas Property For Unknown Price

The town entered into an agreement to purchase the waterfront property at its Monday meeting.

The Tiverton Town Council agreed to purchase a landmark site known as Seaside Gas, next to Grinnell’s Beach, for an unknown price, reports EastBayRI.com

The announcement was made Monday night during the council meeting. The vote to purchase the Seaside Gas property at 1837 Main Road was made during the executive session. 

Details about the deal struck between the town and Cutillo Family Realty Trust will be made public at a later date, according to EastBayRI.com

According to town records, the property was last sold in May 2012 for $400,000. The property owner is listed as Cutillo Family Trust. 

The building and land is valued together at $544,400, according to town property values.
