Local Residents Voice Outrage Over Shutdown

While Tuesday's shutdown will not impact any parks or locations in Tiverton and Little Compton, local residents are still mad over the government decision Tuesday.

While no parks or locations will close in Tiverton or Little Compton, local residents are still upset about the government shutdown Tuesday.

Here's what local residents had to say on Tiverton-Little Compton Patch's Facebook page Tuesday:

Heather McLaughlin DuPonte: Out with them all!

Nancy Moniz: I think we need Donald Trump to go in and fire them all

Sue Frazier-Hancock: They should all be ashamed of themselves. They are hurting their own. People aren't getting paid. Who in their right mind would think this would be helpful. Remember this come election time. Boehner needs to go!

Claire Pelletier: This is just lack of caring for our country and our people. This government is sick and swaded to give to the lazy and steal from us who work our butts off. Not like every working person didn't already figure that one out. Use to be that a government job was a protected job, a place where you wanted to be. Now those jobs are just targets/pawns for our sick government to play with and short change. I feel sorry for those people that are being used in this scheme being run by our so-called president.
