Tiverton Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Vehicle Parts

The following is based on reports from the Tiverton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Local police made the following arrests in the past few days. 

Tiverton 

Penelope L. Myers, 19, of 9 Randolph Ave., Tiverton, was arrested on Nov. 1 at Life Lines, located at 1215 Main Road, after allegedly stealing motor vehicle parts. Myers was charged with larceny under $1,500, theft of motor vehicle parts; tampering with vehicles; and unlawful installation of a vehicle sunscreen, a town bylaw offense. 

David Beard, 57, of 783 King St., Fall River, MA, was arrested on Nov. 2 at 2:45 p.m. after a traffic stop in the area of 283 Stafford Road, Tiverton. Beard was charged with driving under the influence, first offense; refusal to submit to a chemical test; and passing a vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction, a traffic violation. 

Little Compton 

Cheyenne Goodwin-Payton, 39, of Middletown, was arrested on Nov. 2 at 2:07 a.m. Goodwin-Payton was arrested on a court warrant after he 
was questioned for being on private property in Little Compton.
