Woman Medflighted after Rollover Crash
Police said the the woman crashed into a tree and was transported to Rhode Island hospital.
A woman was transported via medflight to a nearby hospital after a rollover crash on Crandall Road on Tuesday.
Police said the the woman crashed into a tree and was transported to Rhode Island hospital.
Crews had to use the Jaws of Life to remove the woman who was trapped inside the vehicle. Responders cut through the roof to free her before she was brought to a staging area for the medflight at Tiverton Middle School.
No word on the woman's condition.
The accident happened shortly after 11 a.m. at the intersection of Crandall Road and Blueberry Lane.
