A Little Compton woman was arrested after the vehicle she was operating struck a stone wall outside the Brownell Library in Little Compton on Saturday.
A Little Compton woman was arrested Saturday after the vehicle she was operating struck a stone wall outside the Brownell Library.
Police received a report of a crash Saturday just after 8 p.m. Officers responded to the Commons for a report of a motor vehicle accident at the stone wall in front of the Brownell Library.
The driver, Lynn Parker, 65, of Little Compton, appeared to be intoxicated, according to police reports.
She failed a field sobriety test at the scene. Parker was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI).
