Little Compton police responded to the following incidents this week.

On Jan. 22, at 2:49 p.m, a vehicle operated by Darren Brennan, 18, of 4 Ronnie Street, Tiverton, attempted to make a left turn onto John Sisson Road. Due to icy and snowy road conditions, the vehicle crashed, striking a stone wall adjacent to the intersection. The vehicle sustained front-end damage. The operator was uninjured.

On Jan. 25, at 1:50 p.m., a vehicle operated by Peter Jannitto, 45, 618 Child St, Warren, became partially submerged on Goosewing Beach. Police and fire personnel responded to a report of a stranded motor vehicle on the beach. Upon arrival, they discovered that the vehicle attempted to travel to Goosewing from South Shore, and became partially submerged
in the creek that runs between the two beaches. The operator of the vehicle was uninjured and the vehicle was towed.
