Police Log: Deer Struck, Stuck Car

Police said it was a slow week in Little Compton last week and reported two incidents involving motor motor vehicles.

On Feb. 13, a 62-year-old Little Compton woman was driving on South of the Commons Road around 7 p.m. when she struck a deer, damaging her car's hood, front bumper and headlight assembly. The car was driven from the scene and the deer ran off.

On Feb. 15, a Fall River, Mass. woman was driving on West Main Road when she lost control of her car on the snow covered road. The car slid off the road and got stuck. The woman was not hurt and the car was removed from the side of the road with a tow truck.
