Fall River Teen Hospitalized After Bay St. Stabbing

A Fall River, MA, teen was reportedly stabbed multiple times early Sunday morning.

A 17-year-old Fall River boy is in critical but stable condition following a stabbing on early on Sunday morning, Tiverton Police confirmed on Tuesday afternoon. 

Just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 Tiverton Police received a report of a stabbing on Bay Street and found that the teenager had been stabbed multiple times in the chest and abdomen. 

He was transported to RI Hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition. Detective Lt. Michael Carr and Detective Jason Dunlea are currently handling the investigation. If anyone has any information which could assist with the investigation, they are asked to call Tiverton Police at (401) 625-6717.

The injuries are non-life threatening, according to a report by The Associated Press.

Tiverton Police would not comment on the identity of the victim and are continuing to investigate this incident.
