Cops: Why'd you shoot? Teen: *shrug*

Johnston Police didn't get much of an answer out of a 19-year-old who reportedly admitted to shooting up a terrified neighbor's house with a BB gun. According to police, the young man said: "I don't know why I did it."

That's some whack crack

Did you know it's a felony to sell fake crack? One Woonsocket man learned that aspect of the law after firefighters at a local station told police they'd seen the man going back and forth from a convenience store with customers from the store. Cops said the man was hitching rides with customers and selling Ondansetron Hydrocloride — an anti-nausea drug for chemo patients — wrapped up like crack cocaine.

Robber tackled for loss

An attempted robbery at a Cranston bank failed after a customer followed the suspect and tackled him outside. Employees of the bank also lent a few hands holding the man until police arrived.

Battling baby mamas

A pregnant Narragansett woman faces a charge of simple assault after Newport Police say she assaulted another woman who is also pregnant with the child of the same man. The suspect went to the other woman's workplace — a Dunkin' Donuts — and punched her outside the shop, according to police reports.
