Tiverton Police have shut down a major heroin distributor in town.
Officers seized more than 2,560 bags of heroin, 50 oxycodones and $6,400 in cash.
Police charged Deana Furtado, 40, of 287 State Street, Tiverton, and charged her with three count of possession of narcotics with intent.
Tiverton Police said police acted on information that there was drug activity at the house.
Furtado was arraigned in Newport District Court and is being held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institutions.
