Little Compton Police Warn Residents of Computer Scam

All arrest information was provided solely by the Little Compton Police Department. Arrests do not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Little Compton Police received a complaint of a phone scan which involved 
a person contacting a resident and requesting her Windows Product Key number from her home computer on July 10 at 4:08 p.m. Police said residents should never give out personal information via phone.

Little Compton Police made the following arrests last week: 

  • Nicholas Soto 20, of Oakland Ave, Providence, was arrested on July 8 at 11:37 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license after Little Compton Police stopped him for a motor vehicle equipment violation on West Main Road.
Little Compton Police resolved the following incidents last week:
  • Little Compton Police responded to Indian Road for a minor vehicle accident on private property on July 8 at 3:21 p.m. No injuries or significant damage was reported.
  • Police responded to 18 Swamp Road on July 13 9:40 a.m. for the report of a larceny from a roadside stand.
