Little Compton Police: Domestic Charges and Accidents

Daniel Emerson, 54, of 50 Hager Road, Woodstock, CT, was arrested on Friday, July 5 at 10:30 a.m. and charged with domestic vandalism after police received a complaint that he damaged a family members' motorcycle.


Elisse Emerson, 23, of 407 Rocky Hill Road, Woodstock, CT, was arrested on July 5 at 12:13 a.m. and charged with domestic simple assault after police received a complaint from a family member that she kicked him while he was laying on the beach.

Sara Livingston Oliveira, 38, of 196 John Dyer Rd Little Compton told police that she was driving north on John Dyer Road on July 4 just before 8 a.m. when she struck and killed a deer that ran out in front of her. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, but was able to be driven from the scene. The driver reported no injuries to herself.

A 17-year-old male lost control of his vehicle as he turned onto William Sisson Road from Maple Avenue on Friday, July 5 at 1:45 a.m.  and struck several sections of wooden fencing. The driver told police that he was using his cell phone to text when the accident occurred.

A resident of Round Pond Road reported to Little Compton Police on 
Sunday, July 7 at 1:33 p.m. that several gifts were stolen from a wedding reception the night before.
