Little Compton Employee Allegedly Steals More Than $5K
The following is based on reports from the Little Compton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Little Compton police have charged a Middletown woman with stealing more than $1,500 from her summer employer.
Kerri L. Alexander, 25, of 202 Rogers Lane, Middletown, was charged Friday with larceny over $1,500.
Little Compton police received a complaint of money missing from daily ticket sales collected at South Shore Beach throughout the summer.

During the investigation, police interviewed Alexander, an employee of South Shore Beach. According to police, Alexander admitted to taking over $5,000 in cash.
She was released on personal recognizance at her arraignment in 2nd District Court. She is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 24.
