LC Police Log: DUI, Controlled Substance, Purse Stolen
Three arrests last week and a larceny investigation were reported by Little Compton police.
The following arrest and incident reports were provided by Little Compton Police. They do not indicate a conviction:
Police charged Ronald Manchester, 48, of 735 Crandall Road, Tiverton, with driving with a suspended license June 3 at 8:33 p.m. Police said Manchester was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and a check of his license showed it was suspended. He was charged and released.
Police charged Harriet Kazarian, 56, of 48 Butts Rock Road, Little Compton, with driving under the influence June 5 at 10:46 p.m. Police said Kazarian was stopped near Side Road after reports of an erratic operator. After a brief investigation, she was arrested.
Police charged Alyssa Korzeniowski, 23, of 79 Star St., Fall River, Mass., with possession of a controlled substance after she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Crandall Road. Police said a check of her information showed she had an outstanding bench warrant for failing to appear on a prior charge. Police found suboxone in her possession during a search. Police did not indicate a time or date of the arrest.
On June 8, Little Compton police were dispatched to South Shore Beach for a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle at around 3:28 p.m.
Police said the victim told them her purse and its contents were stolen from a friend's car.
Police are investigating.
