DUI Charges Top Little Compton Arrests
The following is based on reports from the Little Compton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Little Compton police made the following arrests recently.
Ian T. Peckham, 22, of 493 South Lake Road, Tiverton, was arrested on Oct. 21 shortly after a motor vehicle stop on Peckham Road. The vehicle was stopped for driving erratically. Peckham was charged with driving under the influence with a Blood Alcohol Count greater than .15.
Anna O. Cruz, 42, of 9 Stapleton St., New Bedford, MA, was arrested on Oct. 23 and charged with DUI with a BAC between .10 and .15. The arrest happened after a vehicle was stopped on West Main Road for driving erratically. During the same stop, police also arrested a passenger in the vehicle, Isaias N. Torres, 29, of 17 Isley Ave., New Bedford, MA. Officers learned Torres was a wanted as fugitive from the state of Florida.
Robert J. Sykes, 23 of 1415 Drift Road, Westport, MA, was arrested on Oct. 24 at 11:18 p.m. after a vehicle he was operating was stopped on Long Highway. The vehicle was traveling erratically. Sykes was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
Lisa A. Bonoan, 49, of 416 Adamsville Road, Westport, MA, on Oct. 26 at 1:15 a.m. The arrest occurred after police stopped the vehicle she was operating on Main Street in Adamsville. The vehicle was operating erratically. Bonoan was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
