Boy, Man Burned in Tiverton Camper Explosion

The incident happened on Lawrence Court early Friday morning.

Authorities said a boy and a man were seriously burned when the camper they were in exploded on Lawrence Court early Friday morning.

WPRI.com reported the man was burned all over his body and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. The boy was burned on his legs and transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

The cause of the explosion was unclear. Authorities said the pair parked the camper at 163 Lawrence Court next to the home of their friend.

Had to be Joe . a small gas lead and some sort of spark or flame and boom. My prayers for their speedy recovery .

Propane leak was fine until they parked it and turned on the heater. Last words before turning on the heater had to be... I wonder what that smell is? Education was needed. Apparently their gas detector was not working or it would have been screaming at them.
