Tiverton fire salaries

Is it a wonder why so many fire fighter paramedics are leaving when the fire department secretary makes more money then they do...from the contract online..  Secretary $22.69/hr...fire fighters $22.23/hr...

ofcourse the fire fighters need to be paramedics and advanced EMT's and go into burning buildings and put themselves in harms way..work weekends holidays and u get the picture..while the secretary sits in the air conditioned office behind a desk....

hmmm I wonder why the guys are leaving in droves?..  haha
