$2.3 million grant from RIDOT - what?!

The RIDOT had no problem coming up with a $2.3 million dollar grant to repair the Stone Bridge Abutement while handing over the Sakonnet River Bridge to the RIBTA.
Where is the outrage?  A new dock and lighting may be wonderful for a select group of citizens but the vitality of the East Bay is in jeopardy with the tolls!  These are desperate times and a feel-good project can wait.
