The Michael E. McCarthy Memorial Scholarship 2013

$2,000 and $500 Awards
Available to Middletown and Tiverton High School Seniors
DEADLINE: April 10, 2013

The Michael E. McCarthy Memorial Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization
established in memory of Michael E. McCarthy, a proud member of the Middletown
High School class of 1995 and a dedicated special education teacher and coach at
Tiverton High School. Michael was killed in an accident on September 10, 2004. This
organization is devoted to the support of post-secondary education. In memory of
Michael, scholarships are awarded annually. Four graduating seniors, two from
Middletown High School and two from Tiverton High School, will be chosen to receive the awards. Primary ($2, 000) and secondary ($500) awards will be issued to students at each high school at the discretion of the selection committee.
