I believe the basement cinder block wall collapsed a couple of years ago after heavy rain. The fuel tank in the basement was damaged as a result and the DEM was called in because of the oil spill. Good price but make sure you have the house professionally inspected...any lender will probably require that anyway.

Keller Williams had listed the property a couple of times for $129K between the end of 2010 and June, 2012, when they took it off the market. Will most likely need to be a cash sale given the issues.

I was recently told this house is a complete tear down... Thoughts?

As a side note, I've noticed Patch does a lot of posts for "Just Listed" and "Open Houses." But they have stopped publicizing sales of houses and what the purchase price was. Does any one know why?

yes the price for this house is currently correct. regarding whether this is a "tear down" that is a matter of opinion from those who view it without being with some one that knows what they are looking at i.e. a professional builder/remodeler. it may be a tear down for some but not for all. it has multiple issues but to dismiss it out of hand on a forum such as this based on a personal opinion is misleading. buyer must verify all information.
