Help For Seniors: Health Insurance & Benefits: Seniors can get help with health insurance, supplemental insurance, Medicare Advantage plans and other medical or food assistance programs.  You must call the center the  to make an appointment with Janet Holmes, who is there every Tuesday morning at 9:00am.

Jr. Explorers Event: The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island invites children ages 6 through 8 to investigate nature through games, crafts, and exploration at the . Be ready to find live animals and use real scientific tools! Meet at the Environmental Center. Adult accompaniment is required. Registration by phone or email is highly recommended. This event is free, but there is a parking fee at the town beach.

Senior Functional Fitness: with Debbie Gagnon providing low impact, interval aerobic movement with dance. The class focuses on core muscle groups and cardiovascular fitness in a safe manner. Takes place at  at 11:00am.

Mah Jongg: The Dragon-Flowers Mah Jongg Group meets every Tuesday from 12:30 to 4:30 in the Game Room at Sakonnet Bay Manor, 1215 Main Rd, Tiverton.  Experienced American-MahJongg players are welcome to join any Tuesday.  For more information, contact Pat at 401.624.3070 (email to mahjongg593@aol.com) OR Gretchen at 401.359.0113 (email togretchenjane@cox.net).
