How You Can Help Man Fight Rare Form of Cancer

Michael Weaver is currently undergoing treatment in Boston for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia T-Cell, a rare form of cancer. Here's how you can help him.

A local man is raising funds for his friend, Michael Weaver, who is currently undergoing treatment for a rare form of cancer.

Patrick Rollo posted the following on the GoFundMe website

Hi Friends!

Our great friend Michael Weaver - La Mountain or J.R. to many of us is currently undergoing treatment in Boston for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia T-Cell, a very rare and aggressive cancer. I've added a link below so you can read more about it.

Being sick is very costly even when you have insurance and we're coming to you all since everyone has asked, "How can I help?"

Through this page we hope to raise as much money as we can to help offset the costs for his treatment. As an incentive we're going to give away four tickets to the July 20, 2013 Bon Jovi concert at Gillette Stadium (already given away). These are premium field level seats in Section A1. For every $10 you donate we'll give you two chances in the give away. $100 gets you 20 chances and so on.

We're also planning an event in RI for later in the summer and details on that are going to follow.
