Village Harmony Teen Folk Music at Sandywoods 7/23

WEDNESDAY, JULY 23 - VILLAGE HARMONY CONCERT

VILLAGE HARMONY returns to Sandywoods! Sixteen sparkling young singers and instrumentalists performing music from the Balkans, the Baltic States, Georgia, Ukraine, and Occitan France, plus contemporary compositions. Don't miss this dynamic teen world music ensemble, led by Will Rowan, Carl Linich, and Natalie Nowytski.

The group includes brilliant teen singers ages 12 to 18, hailing from six states. The July 23rd program will include traditional songs from Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean coast of France as well as a number of Will Rowan’s original compositions. 

Village Harmony is a nonprofit organization based in Vermont, dedicated to the study and performance of ethnic singing traditions from around the world. Village Harmony’s many recordings and songbooks will be available for sale at the concert.
