The Art Connection-RI's 3rd Anniversary: Celebration of Arts in Rhode Island

Come celebrate the
3rd Anniversary of The Art Connection-RI on Wednesday, April 30,
2014 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Fete in Olneyville!

The Art
Connection-RI’s (TAC-RI) mission is to make visual art accessible to people who
might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience art in their daily
lives.  This is accomplished by giving local nonprofits the opportunity to
choose from a large collection of donated artworks from local artists and art
collectors.  These works become the property of the nonprofit and are
displayed to promote well-being and enrich the lives of the people they
serve.

TAC-RI
is proud to support the missions of many local nonprofits including Meeting
Street, Children’s Friend, Progresso Latino, Open Doors, Providence Community
Health Center, Dorcas International, Women’s Center of Rhode Island, and Ronald
McDonald House, with additional applications being processed from other strong
nonprofits in Rhode Island every month.

Art transforms places and minds. It plays as an
important restorative and inspirational role in the lives of those it touches.

Connection-RI Community Award, Art Beneficiary Award and The Iona Dobbins
