'Chefs at the Market' DeWolf Tavern Cooking Demo

In March, DeWolf Tavern Sous Chef Jen Chapman joined us in the barn to cook up wintry root veggies in coconut curry, and she's coming back to the farmers market to put a summer spin on things this week!  Starting around 10:30am she'll be demonstrating how to make easy and delicious Poached Farm Eggs with Dressed Bitter Greens and Roasted Summer Turnips & Radishes--she'll have tips and tastes and a recipe that you can try at home!

The Chefs at the Market series is a monthly series of cooking demonstrations and tastings at the Mount Hope Farmers Market, featuring the talent of area chefs who source locally, and highlighting the wealth of ingredients available from our local farmers and producers.

Each month a different chef will present a cooking demonstration and tasting at the market, featuring the vegetables, fruits, herbs, cheeses, meats and seafood that the farmers and producers offer.  Market-goers will be able to observe, learn a new recipe or technique, discover how to work with a particular ingredient they might be unfamiliar with, and taste delicious food prepared by a
talented local chef.
