So, the hahahahaha was meant for something else? Right. I guess it's also funny to disobey the law (you must register your car within 30 days of moving here), and laugh at your neighbors who follow it and pay their motor vehicle tax. Taxes are for the little people, right, Leona, er, Justin? Your behavior just shows how much you hate your town and the people who live in it.

Justin replied but it's now showing here. "Yes, you can scroll up and see for yourself. And I don't own the cars. Additionally, it's been a busy year of buying a house and doing remodeling that added much more to the tax rolls than a nine-year-old Hyundai would." Someone is too busy to follow the law? And the other claim that the renovations are of more value does not make up for the fact that the law is being broken. That would be like saying I tied my dog under the porch and didn't feed him for three weeks, but I gave $5,000 to the MSPCA. Whether you own the cars, the law is being broken in your house. Lack of respect for your neighbors. Register the vehicles and pay the taxes on them. It's the right thing to do.

Maybe Justin should speak to the former superintendent of schools in Portsmouth who also "did not have time" to register her vehicle and they can compare notes.

Hmmm..."There's a difference between saying "so-and-so did this, and I think it's wrong" and saying "so-and-so is a jerk who hates the town and wants to hurt children." This is coming from Tiverton's own Chubby Checker, the master of the twist. Twisting his intentions away after vile has been spewed, then playing the victim. Calling the budget committee members dishonest, saying that town officials actually have ideas for what the money can be used for, and saying that the town has taxed residents too much definitely falls into the jerk and hate category, no?
