Tiverton voters on Tuesday voted for a budget plan endorsed by a citizen petition.
The plan will levy a property tax not to exceed $37,527,200, which is the same as last year's.
Voters chose the "option 2" budget listed on the ballot. The Budget Committee had endorsed a budget plan that would levy a property tax not to exceed $38,125,600, an increase of 1.6 percent from last year.
