6. Did anyone try the home made laundry detergent we discussed ? Maybe you bought the “ingredients” but haven’t gotten around to it yet? I have a way you can start using those same ingredients right now with a very simple recipe for dishwasher detergent. Mix together ½ cup borax, ½ cup washing soda and ¼ cup kosher salt. Use 1 tbsp in each of the rinse compartments of the dishwasher. Another great tip- the rinse aid can be replaced with vinegar, eliminating another set of chemicals from your home.
