 2&nbsp\;\nThe Essex Public Library is proud to offer creative and enjoya
 ble programs for teens\, ages 11-18\, this summer with an emphasis on pr
 ograms that challenge teens to own their voices and open their minds to 
 new possibilities in their lives. We have invited some of our past perfo
 rmers from 2011\, as well as new artists and community teachers to parti
 cipate in this summer's programming\, including comic book artist\, Kate
  Schapira and her husband\, James McShane\, local Yoga instructor\, Cary
 l Sickul\, and well-known improv performer\, Melissa Bowler.\nWe also in
 vite teens to participate in our book cover contest and a consortium-wid
 e pen pal program that has been recently introduced by the Cumberland Pu

 couraged teens to keep reading and attending programming throughout the 
 summer to win prizes and library bucks! Teens must register for the summ
 er reading program to be entitled to attend any of the programs and win 
 prizes. They are also required to submit at least five book reviews to b
 e entered into the grand prize raffle.\nTo read more about which prizes

 012 summer reading program begins on June 28th and there is a kick-off e
 vent scheduled that day between noon and 2:30pm at the Tiverton High Sch
 ool Library. Pizza and snacks will be provided\, plus a copy of the newe
 st John Green book\, "The Fault in Our Stars" to the first attendee.\nWe
