From what I can see, we are going to need the tolls. There going to need the money to rebuild a new one in 5 years or so. It's the most uneven bridge I have ever seen in my life. Has anyone looked at the rails on it? And there's dips on the pavement for water to puddle. Also, when they poured the concrete for the abutment on the Portsmouth side, it was to hot that day. It cracked every where. So they patched it up. That's fine for now, but it's a band aid.

What a joke! Maybe they should take down the old one and try to build another one there the right way? .... Just like anything else,They don't make them like they used to. In the mean time, I will start saving my pennies now so I will be able to cross the bridge when the tolls go up. NICE!!!!!!!! Right now me and my wife dont have enough money to buy a second car. I give her a ride to the Park and Ride in Portsmouth to catch the RIPTA bus to Warren and were from Tiverton. That means I cross it at least 4 times a day, 5 days a week. Whats next? Before you know it there's going to be a toll at the end of everyones driveway?
